Eine Hälfte ist fertig
Die erste Hälfte vom Schal ist fertig und ruht auf einem Maschenhalter (so eine Riesen-Sicherheitsnadel). Irgendwie schien ich das Endlos-Knäuel zu haben, denn ich habe es geschafft, immer noch einen Mustersatz aus den 50 g herauszuholen, es war unglaublich. Insgesamt waren es 22 Mustersätze. Jetzt sind noch 2 oder 3 m Garn übrig - so mag ich das. Ich habe einfach immer weiter gestrickt, auch wenn ich jedesmal bezweifelt habe, ob noch ein ganzer Mustersatz in dem Rest verborgen war. Aber bei einem so schmalen Teil und so kleinem Mustersatz war das Risiko ja gering.
Tja, und dann habe ich noch 3 Mustersätze von der zweiten Hälfte geschafft, und dann habe ich gemerkt, dass die Konzentration nachließ. Da habe ich mich dann meiner neuesten Strick-Lektüre zugewandt. Spannend, ich mag das Buch. War gestern in der Post.
The first half of the scarf is finished and the stitches are resting on a stitchholder-thingum formed like a giant safety pin. Somehow this seemed to be an endless ball, because I managed to get yet another and another and another pattern repeat done from that single 50g ball. It was almost incredible. All in all I got 22 repeats from the ball. There are only 2 or 3 meters left now; I really love this. I just kept going on, even if everytime I doubted that there'd be just another repeat hiding out in the leftover. But there wasn't a high risk, a narrow piece of knitting and only a 10 row reapeat.
Then I also worked another 3 repeats of the second half yesterday. Then I had to put down the knitting, because I started to make mistakes. Then I just turned to my latest knitting reading. I like the book. Just was in yesterdays mail.
