Wenn ich nicht so viele
Socken-Ufos hier rumliegen hätte (fast nur Mustersocken, die glatt gestrickten werden immer schnell fertig), dann würde ich diese Spitzensocken sofort anstricken. Aber ich verkneif es mir...
If there wouldn't be that many Sock-Ufos around here (almost all are patterned socks, the ones in stockinette get done quickly), I'd cast on these lacy socks at once. But I can just hold myself back...

Gespannt
ist der Ärmelschal, jetzt muss er nur noch zusammen genäht werden. Wegen der verschiedenen Nadeln, die ich benutzt habe, ist die Länge unterschiedlich, aber nicht so viel, als dass es etwas ausmachen würde. Fast 1,60 m lang ist das Teil lang geworden.
Und hier noch mal von nahe:
Und die Spannmatten haben sich bewährt. Man kann die Nadeln sehr viel leichter einstecken, was die ganze Spannerei (hi hi, ich freu mich schon auf die erstaunten Google-Sucher, wenn sie hier nur Stricken finden) sehr viel einfacher und schneller macht. Und auch, wenn ich das Bett noch drunter habe, kann ich doch die Matten mitsamt Strickstück einfach wegtragen und in eine Ecke stellen.
I blocked the shrug yesterday. Now I only need to sew the seams. Beause of the different Needle sizes I used the length of both parts is a bit different, but not so much as to really count. The length of the whole thing is about 1.6 meters. You see it above, together with a near view.
And the rubber foam blocking mats have stood their test. It is much easier to push in the pins, which makes the blocking process faster and easier. And even when I work on the bed, I can carry the mats together with the blocked knitting away and put it upright in a corner.
