Nicht viel gestrickt
habe ich die letzten beiden Tage. Gestern habe ich allerdings ein neues Paar Socken angefangen, was selbstmusterndes von Opal, die diesmal für die Weihnachtskiste sind - in weniger als einem halben Jahr ist Weihnachten! Ich muss erst noch rausfinden, ob mein Sohn die Sockenbaumwolle mag, die ich verschmäht habe.
Statt stricken stand Arbeit auf dem Programm. Und da ich gestern abend Ruhe hatte (alle waren ausgeflogen, die Kinder beim Teenkreis-Grillen, und mein Mann auf einer Sitzung der KiGo-Mitarbeiter), habe ich weiter gearbeitet. Und es fluppte auch ganz gut. Anfang der Woche musste ich noch 150 Seiten mit der Rechtschreibhilfe korrigieren, plus 200 Seiten "mit dem Stift" korrekturlesen plus 200 Seiten Korrekturen eintippeln. Heute sind noch 40 Seiten handschriftliche Korrekturen übrig, und ich werde jetzt gleich anfangen, die Korrekturen einzugeben. Die 40 Seiten lasse ich auf morgen, da bin ich frischer und entdecke mehr Fehler. Jedenfalls habe ich vor, morgen diese Sache abzuschließen. Dann heißt es erstmal Ferien - die Kinder haben schon seit heute keine Schule mehr.
Didn't knit a lot lately. Yesterday I started a new pair of Socks, some selfstriping Opal yarn. They are for my Christmas-box, less than half a year till Christmas! I don't know yet whether my son will like the cotton-wool mix I didn't like, so I started these.
Instead of knitting I did lots of work. And because yesterday it was all quiet here (everybody except me was out of the house, the kids with the church teenie group, my husband had a meeting of sunday school teachers), I went on working. It went very well. At the beginning of the week I had 150 pages to go throuhg with the spellchecker, then 200 pages to correct "on paper" plus 200 pages of corrections to put in the computer. As of today theres only 40 pages of corrections left, plut typing corrections of 200 pages. I want to finish all of this tomorrow. Then I'll have holidays - the children's first day off school was today.
