Eigentlich wollte
ich euch schon längst mal ein paar Urlaubsfotos zeigen, aber im Moment geht das nicht. Mein FTP-Upload-Programm funktioniert irgendwie nicht richtig, warum und wie weiß ich nicht - mein Sysop (=liebster Ehemann von allen) kümmert sich drum. So muss ich Bilder (und alles andere) mühselig über den internetbasierten Upload meines Providers hochladen. Mühselig deshalb, weil ich jedes Foto einzeln hochladen muss. Für einzelne Fotos mach ich das, aber aus dem Urlaub nur ein oder zwei Fotos zeigen, das ist ein bisschen wenig.
I'd love to show you a few photos from our vacation, but at the moment this isn't possible. ein bisschen Fortschritt
habe ich auch zu vermelden: Nachdem ich die letzten Tage an Ralfs Janker immer wieder gestrickt und aufgeribbelt habe (mindestens drei mal, jedes mal nur wenige Reihen zum Glück) und nicht vorwärts kam, habe ich gestern mal ohne Fernsehen daran gestrickt und zu einer Zeit, zu der ich noch richtig fit bin. Und siehe da, es hat geklappt. Ich hoffe, dass der Knoten jetzt geplatzt ist. Ich bin nach wie vor kurz vor dem Anfang des Halsausschnittes des ersten Vorderteils. Ich will diesen Janker diesen Monat fertig bekommen! Das wird knapp.
Zusätzlich habe ich beim Fernsehen an meiner Weißen Wolke gearbeitet, die jetzt immerhin 8 1/2 Mustersätze hat (auf diesem Foto sind es erst 2 1/2). Der Schal ist jetzt über 40 cm lang, und ich bin beim zweiten Knäuel.
A little bit of Progress
During the last few days Ralfs Janker didn't really progress. I knitted a bit, saw a mistake and ribbed. Only a few rows at a time, but enough to drive me almost to ban the thing in the farthest corner of the wardrobe. But I can be persistent, so yesterday I used a time when I was still quite fit and didn't have any distractions around (like TV). I measured and knit and now there is at least a few cm progress more than I used to have. But I'm still shortly before the neck opening. I want this Janker to be finished this month! I wonder if I can make it.
In addition to this I worked on my White Cloud scarf during TV-time. It's got 8 1/2 repeats now (on this photo you see only 2 1/2 repeats). It is now more than 40 cm long and I'm working on the second ball.
