Strick-Hemmung
hatte ich gestern: Zunächst von außen, denn im Agrippa-Bad an der Kasse war dermaßen der Bär los, dass ich kaum mal Atem holen geschweige denn eine Masche stricken konnte. Also müssen die Socken noch weiter auf Vollendung warten.
Dafür bin ich aber diese Socken los geworden, und die neue Besitzerin war sehr zufrieden. Und sie passten endlich auch. Denn ich habe zweimal aufmachen müssen, damit es stimmt.
Und dann habe ich noch ein schlimmes Erlebnis gehabt, das mich dann meine restliche Strickzeit gekostet hat: Ich habe zwar ein paar Reihen gestrickt, aber konnte gleich alles wieder aufribbeln, denn es bestand nur aus Fehlern.
Heute bin ich sehr müde - wenig und schlecht geschlafen - habe aber immerhin 2 1/2 Mustersätze am Weiße-Wolke-Schal gestrickt, so in den Pausen. Viel wird heute nicht mehr werden, denn heute abend ist Hauskreis. Da freue ich mich schon sehr drauf.
Yesterday I didn't get much done knitting wise. Usually I knit at the entrance of the pool, where I see to it that only members of our Swimming club have admission. But yesterday there were so many people asking questions etc. that I didn't get a stitch done on those socks.
But I could sell these socks. The recipient loves them - eventually they were the right size. After two ribbings.
Later I had a very difficult experience, which resulted in even less knitting time. I knitted a few rows only to see they were full of mistakes, so I had to rib. So no progress yesterday.
Today I'm very tired, because I slept badly and not enough. I did get a few repeats of the White Cloud Scarf done. I knitted during my breaks. Today I won't get much more done, because in the evening theres the weekly Bible Class at our church which I visit quite regularly. I'm looking forward to that one.
