Neue und alte Knitalongs
Den Wavy-Knitalong habe ich letztes Jahr mangels Zeit nicht hinbekommen. Bzw. der Versuch, den ich gestartet hatte, ist gleich wieder im Frog-Pond gelandet, weil es nicht aussah. Dieser Knitalong wird also bei Uta nachgeholt. Und außerdem macht Aud den Mützalong.
Diesen Winter brauche ich nämlich einen passenden Schal mit Mütze, und Wavy hatte ich dafür sowieso schon eingeplant, und zwar sowohl beim Schal als auch bei der Mütze. Klasse: Sitzt, passt und hat Luft. Und wer weiß, vielleicht kommt ja auch noch der eine oder andere zusätzliche Wavy zustande. Am liebsten hätte ich auch noch passende Handschuhe, aber 1. weiß ich nicht, ob das geplante Garn reicht und 2. weiß ich nicht, ob dieses Garn überhaupt Handschuh-tauglich ist, und 3. weiß ich nicht, ob ich diese Handschuhe dann Fahrrad-tauglich bekomme (d. h. möglichst winddicht). Und in einem anderen Garn dieselbe Farbe zu bekommen, ist wohl eher unwahrscheinlich. Aber ich habe ja noch etwas Zeit zum Überlegen.
New and old Knitalongs: There is a new round of the German Wavy Knitalong, and also a Hat-knitalong. Both are just the right thing for me, because I need a scarf with a matching hat. So I decided to make a Wavy scarf, and a Wavy hat. You can find the knitalongs at the links.
And perhaps I can get more than just one Wavy done. What I'd really love would be matching mittens or gloves (not yet decided). But 1. I don't know whether I have enough yarn 2. I don't know whether the yarn is suitable for gloves and 3. I don't know whether I'll get the gloves windproof enough to be useful when riding my bike. I think it isn't likely that I can get the same shade in a different yarn. But I still have some time to think about that.
