Fertig!
FO! At least knittingwise. Yesterday I finished knitting on the White Cloud. And now I'm working with some yarn that I was given by my friend Luzia. I'm knitting scarves for our Artist's Market (aka bazaar...) at my church. Again I'm working with acrylics, color is tourqoise, and the yarn is a very fine cablee. Good to work with. I'm experimenting with Elisabeth's Lattice Lace from Knitting On the Edge by Nicky Epstein. Up till now nothing to really show you.
Fotos of the White Cloud when it is blocked and ends are sewn in.

Kampf gewonnen,
HA!
I won the fight with the pattern today. I was quite frustrated with Barbara Walker's "Indian Cross Stitch" pattern from her First Treasury (p. 112). The yos of row 5 didn't want to move from the cable to the needle when being worked on in row 6. But using a different needle (more suitable material - grey Inox, not bamboo; better join) and less tightening up of said yos did the trick. When doing the third repeat (it's hard to stop, just look at what time I'm writing) I didn't have to work hard any more to get the stitches from the cable to the needle. Sorry I was too peeved to write an English version of the previous entry.
What I'm working on? a wide scarf/stole thing from some leftover yarn. I hope it will make enough length, otherwise I'll have to take it to the frog pond. And yes, I started a new project. And no, I didn't finish anything, especially not Ralfs Janker (25 cm in first front now). I just couldn't stop myself. I needed a Summer of Lace project.
